The best results from the first day of racing at Gent International regatta in Belgium was in the womens junior four squad (E. McConnell, C. Walsh, P. Fleming, J. Russell, L. Drummond) taking home the bronze medal.
In the mens Junior Sculls Dave Duggan ended up in 10th position (Best of the Irish) out of a field of 88 crews.
On day two the womens junior four repeated the performance coming home with the bronze medal while Dave Duggan came third in the heat of the Mens Senior B sculls, however it was not fast enouh to qualify. This has been great experience for an all junior squad. Well done to all crews and especially to the organisers and parents who travelled with the squad.
